Founded in 1958 to provide equipment and engineering services to local Food, Chemical and Mining industries, Congleton's John R Boone now offers Mixers and complete process plant including design, build and installation for UK and export markets.
The process plant division produces mixing and proportioning systems for the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. The company's mixers are in use world wide producing products as diverse as mayonnaise, heart tablets and breakfast cereals. They offer consistent, efficient and economical mixing of powders, pastes and liquids, using both pressure and vacuum techniques. Their ground-breaking Horizontal Helical blade mixer, for example, surpassed the specification set by the Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation and sales to the Japanese giant soon followed. In the design and build stages, the interaction of each part is carefully considered to ensure accuracy and reliability, minimise cleaning and other causes of down-time.
